home sectionals cont.

Adding on to what ruby said, I think everyone played/practiced well today :D *vigorously claping* and it was a very pleasant atmosphere for sectionals today~ (must be shiyun's house ROFL)

shall not say anymore and on to the pictures yea!!

Lets maintain this spirit til Addiction III! remember to drink more water, don't sleep later than 12am[Miss Chang's words :) ] and eat more fruits! Take care and CHIONG AHHHHHHHH

Home Sectionals @ Shiyun's Houseee:D

Hey! Today (22 November 2009)! Some of us (majority of the section, except juniors, Jaime, and Yunhan) went to Shiyun's house for sectionals! With our guest flute player, Litat:D. Also, we had our dearest tutor, Miss Chang, to help us along:D

I must say, I'm really happy...and I think today's really special. Thank you all! For working so hard! I guess it really kinda bonded us together even more yeah?

And of course, thank you MISS CHANG! Haha!!! I dunno, words cannot really describe how grateful we all are to you!

And...SHIYUN! LOL!! For lending us your beautiful peaceful house:D

Currently H1N1 is spreading like wildfire in Singapore, some were diagnosed even without symptoms...

The following video contains 99.9999999999999% vulgarities. It's one of Mr Brown shows. Please do not take offense, it's purely meant for enjoyment.

Storyline: Ministers have successfully purged the new breed of soldiers from using dialect, therefore all only speak English and Mandarin/their mother tongue. These soldiers are basically clueless on whatever Hokkien vulgarities used in the speeches. ***There are a lot of spelling mistakes and the vulgarities are meant to be not censored properly.

Hello all! Haven't posted for a long long timeeee and the blog is abit dead @@..just wanted to share a video that i came across recently :) don't know whether you all remember those videos posted by buffalax in which he inputs english subtitle to music videos of foreign language that either huiyi or liyin (can't remember) posted onto our blog? anyway, here is a new one which is related to michael jackson

I am not being racist okkkk, its just amusing~ the way they dance xD

Band Test coming up!

Hi all! As you guys already know, there is no practice till further notice due to the H1N1 crisis.

We feel that this period is the best time for everyone to train and get back to their basics so we're having a mini basic test when band resumes. Please practice hard!

What will be tested:

- 7 Basic Major Scales - Ab,Bb,C,D,Eb,F,G.

- 7 Basic Major Arpeggios - Ab,Bb,C,D,Eb,F,G.

- Chromatic Scales starting on any note.

- Basic Rhythm Test.

- Score Reading.

Also, there is Arts Fiesta rehearsals in the first week when school reopens!
Attendance is COMPULSORY! and we hope to achieve FULL ATTENDANCE!

Rehearsal days are on the TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY of the first week of school.

See you all then!

Meanwhile, PRACTICE HARD! REST WELL! DO YOUR HOMEWORK!

Our Section outing would be postponed too.
