hey guys...jus wanna say we all done well!!! better than last sat by loads. and by loads i reali mean it =)) at least i know my essay wun be wasted,tho i doubt half the section had seen it =.=..but if u wan to rmbr key points of the 3 pieces,feel free to refer back to the post abt it. i can hear various improvements of the 3 pieces alredi,mus keep it up! and rmbr. since after tmr's last band prac we're going for exams. although study is impt,pls take a few mins,15 or 30 mins a day will do,to practice ur instrument. i'm sure it wun affect ur studies in any way =) it can even serve as a better stress reliever than tv and computer rite xD hehe..anyway,i wouldn't wan u all go back to band practice after the exams forgetting everything and we hav to start frm the scratch. then we'll sure be DEAD..i reali mean it. and u'll see mr lim coughing blood and killing his throat for reasons he mentioned again =.=...wouldn't wan that would we? dun forget that the other 3 pieces,starflight,sinfonia and american salute is MUCH more difficult than ytrday pieces,more details hav to be put in and we haven reach the point of expressing those 3 pieces well too. so pls,dun forget abt ur instruments when u are going for exam,cuz i doubt u'll study the whole day non-stop rite =.=..lols =D it would be the best to start frm where we had left off bfore we're going frm exam break. we'll hav a MUCH easier time to prepare for concert and play to our best. back to the main subject,i know all of u are still smiling =) haha,can't stop smiling since ytrday rite? the sense of achievement to be able to play well and the adrenaline..is addictive correct? jus like wad we're going to do to our concert..ADDICTION =DD ha. shuang until go crazy liao,seeing tchers,fellow band mmbrs smiling,alumnis smiling,even mr lim smiling =D all nervousness,no confidence or wad nt all gone,seeing him happy and smiling we feel much better and happy too rite? ain't the feeling great? to be able to make so many ppl happy wif jus the music we played..so i urge u,dun be complacent jus bcuz of our performance ytrday,not to FORGET to KEEP improving,its good to feel happy,and to be even more happy we hav to practice harder,put in more effort and play even better for the concert! no more fooling arnd during combine,during warm ups or even when mr lim is trying to put together all the stuffs we hav practiced. we hav to FOCUS,treat every combine cum sectionals seriously and improve like we've nvr done bfore in order to make the concert a SUCCESS!!! =DD once again,i would like to congrats the whole band for playing well ytrday. =) take this time to be happy for all u wan,but after that,we'll hav to take this feeling as a guide to play even better. the atmosphere of performing well in front of 800+ audience is nt to be meddled wif. u'll see wad i mean WHEN we play well on the night of 7th Dec 2006. =DD think thats all i wan to say. =)) regards, Faith.
