this will be at the left upper side of the shirt, which is the left side of the chest. ya

this will be at the right lower side of the shirt.the lines are staff lines.

this will be at the back. where the is a huge clarinet,with names on staff lines,and 2 little stickman,one boy and one girl at the sides of the clarinet.

this will be at the lower right side at the back. beside the bell of the clarinet.

Well,i drew this in like 2 hours. lols. i don't think the clarinet is well drawn and it is not very clear on the web. because my phone has a lousy camera. so i will bring it on saturday to let you all see. and the back colour.. maroon? i am not sure. ya. so I'll have to let you all see the design first. May i know where can make shirts? lols. i don't know any where.

Reminiscing or maybe Emo-ing

Maybe this might come out as very random to most of you, but i really would like to voice out what I'm feeling as of recently. I'm quite sad (as in really sad) of what has become of our section both in real life or blog. From an army of clarinetists(24 people in full strength including bass clarinets) it has become 7. But i'm upset not because of the huge drop in the quantity of players, Its the SPIRIT. SPIRIT of the section or individual players.

Since when had sectionals been getting lesser and lesser? from the time when I've been around, the extra sectionals that have been organised (on thursdays most of the time and extra days when everyone is free) to practice more as a section and together. If you had realised (for the seniors that have been around), that it had subconsciously brought our section more together. It may be tiring yes, but we always had fun together be it crapping or getting serious to practice for our pieces. remember the tears or unhappiness when we felt when we have played lousy for feast day? or the whoops of joy when we've finally get the right feeling and style of playing leroy anderson portrait. It might be due to many reasons I guess, but I feel that we are less like a family already.

Last time everyone anticipated section outing and wanted to go willingly, just to spend time with each other outside band too. Look back in the archives and see our first outing, as compared to the one recently which we went to east coast park. There's so much different in the turn out rate, it makes people wonder why has it become like this? Even the section tee this year, why do some of us have to keep chasing and asking for it? the poll results for the colours have long been up there, but there hasn't been any news about it. I'm not scolding all of you, But the point is why something like that which people do on their own accord, because they want and feel inclined to do become a burden? This makes the whole thing meaningless, because its supposed to be something that everyone wants, not only a minority of the whole section.

And lastly, our blog. I went back and looked at the archives, from the first post when the section blog has been created to recently. Its very sad in some sense, but still brings smiles to my face. Be it those random pictures taken during sectionals to spice up the blog, or the endless encouragement from the seniors or just about anyone in the section, who really cared and want improvement. Or reminders of attires and taking care of your health, notes for pieces which are most crucial, for Addiction I, Addiction II, SYF or exchanges etc. There had never been a time where everything lay stagnant, that needs urgings for new posts to keep the blog alive. So its really sad, to have something like this to happen now. I guess as time goes by, people forget. Not many people realised that..is it really worth it to let everything go down now? This blog seemed to have lost its purpose, a place where each of us from the section had gathered even when we go home. Just to share laughter or thoughts, or anything that we feel would have brighten everyone's day with.

And all of this..is what i meant by spirit of section or individual players. Its been a long time since i've nagged like this, i hope everything goes in yup (its for your own good..!) and everyone make it a point to read. All of above that I've typed, is not to scold you or tell you where you did wrong. Its to bring your attention to something which we are almost losing. So what we have to do now is build everything up again. I know I have not been there for you all as much as before, and I'm really sorry about it. I'll start to go back and haunt you all as much as I can, SOON. So be prepared =) let us all give our section, blog and everything a meaning again alright?

SEC 4S..YOU ALL BETTER FIND ONE DAY AFTER YOUR O'S ALL COME BACK. WE ALL GO CELEBRATE! ^^ maybe counted as section outing? (hints)

New Skin!

Hey all! Here's a new skin for this blog. Please give your comments.. if you guys don't like it, I can still revert back to the old one! I still have the coding with me. If you all wanna add any photo or whatsoever, tell me too! I'll do what I can to improve it! Also, if you know how to make skins, do help make for this blog too! Contribute whatever you can do for this okay? Don't forget to practice your instruments too! Juniors are performing for the music festival too! We wish them the best of luck!
